Research cannot start without an solution to a problem in mind. This is a photo of members from our class discussing with Sitio Makabuhay leaders about the implementation of Lumitiles in their community. After all, the best way to ensure that the community is aware of our project is to converse with them about it. Through this, our class was able to pursue the completion of the project with great vigor for the benefit of the community with their issues such as lack of lighting and soil erosion.

In this photo, members from different committees are cutting PET bottles. This as an important material in creating the eco brick, and it must be washed, cut, flattened, and shredded before it can be used. That is why it is essential to work coherently as a team, much like a factory line. Without the effort and dedication of so many members of our class working together for a long time to produce materials, none of this would have been possible.

This minute-long teaser gives the audience information on the materials, process, and purpose of the product. The goal of the teaser is to entice the audience to support both the LumiTiles project and the developing community Sitio Makabuhay. In using upbeat music and attractive visuals, our class hopes to deliver the positive message that through collaboration of different fields like Science, Technology, Research and Math we can create solutions for the good of others.
